    Eco-Impuls 2014 international conference

     

    The third edition of the international conference Eco-Impuls will be held on October 16-17, at the premises of the “Stan Vidrighin” Waste Water Treatment Plant in Timisoara, 1 Pastorilor Street. The conference topic is “The future of the public utility services”.

     

    Eco-Impuls is a forum for debates among water professionals, from Romania and Germany, representatives of public utility companies, equipment vendors, university professors and researchers.

     

    The conference subjects cover the area of water, sewerage and waste management. Besides seminars and discussions, Eco-Impuls provides also place for an exhibition for the participating companies.

     

    The Eco-Impuls international conference is organized by the Aquademica Romanian-German Foundation, Aquatim, the water and waste water regional operator, the Romanian Water Association – West Region Committee and the “Politehnica” University of Timisoara.

     

    Many foreign specialists and speakers return gladly to Timisoara. Eco-Impuls 2014 plans to make them feel at home, in a multicultural environment, among other Europeans, incuding many German top specialists. The latest issues on the international agenda, concerning a better and safer environment will be discussed. We are eager to reunite with our German partners, who have been most helpful over these years, sharing from their valuable knowledge and guiding us through our challenging activity.

     

    Eco-Impuls 2014 is organised on two main directions. One consists in the scientific debates and seminars, focused on the latest changes in the specific European regulations and the need to rapidly line up with the international trends, the practical training of environmental professionals, the challenges in the population growth impacted urban waste management. The other represents the inauguration of the WWTP in Recas which will be held Thursday, on the first conference day, in the presence of Attila Korodi, the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change and officials of the local and county public administrative bodies.

     

    More than 20 German speakers engaged in the public utility domain already confirmed their participation.

     

    The official opening of the conference will be on Thursday, October 16, 10 AM, at the premises of the “Stan Vidrighin Waste Water Treatment Plant in Timisoara
